Venus has phases, much like the Moon, but slower. A full phase cycle of Venus takes 584 Earth days. Venus is currently in a waning crescent phase so I decided to take some pictures with my 600mm lens and 2x teleconverter. I was fully zoomed for an effective 1200mm, which shows some chromatic aberration.
