I went up to Hilltop Park in Signal Hill just before sunset to setup to take a picture of the comet. This was Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS). For about 10 minutes, I could see the comet with my unaided eyes, between when it got dark enough and before the comet was too low in the sky.
