Showcase:

I took an impromptu trip to Joshua Tree to attempt to see the comet with my eyes instead of only through a long exposure picture. I did accomplish this, but I had to be a human star tracker again. I also tried some astrophotography while I was there, but not of the comet, because I'd have to have pointed at something bright to focus and then find the comet again. The astrophotography wasn't as good as I'd hoped, partly due to the full Moon and unsteady skies. But also because I kept making mistakes, like leaving the Bahtinov mask on. (See the really bad Moon photo below)

I got a picture of Jupiter where you can just barely make out some cloud bands and a picture of the Andromeda galaxy that you can almost make out some of the shape.
