There were big sunspots on the Sun, so I decided to get some pictures. I took my setup down to a nearby park and got some pictures through both kinds of solar filters I have. That big sunspot is about 2 to 3 times the diameter of the Earth. Because it was daytime, I couldn't use the Bahtinov mask for focus. Also, it turns out pictures through the H-alpha solar filter are really challenging and I got super lucky the one other time I've tried to get a picture through it.
