I went to a friend's house for a thanksgiving party, and I brought my telescope because they live in San Bernardino, where the skies are noticeably darker than long beach. Once again, I tried, unsuccessfully, to mix sidewalk-astronomy and astrophotography. And, as usual, I spent significantly more time on sharing views through the telescope with the other people than on astrophotography.
I tried to get the Andromeda galaxy and the Pleiades. I focused manually, instead of taking the time to use the Bahtinov mask. So the pictures didn't turn out very well.
