I setup outside of work to look at Jupiter and Saturn, and anything else I think we might have a chance at seeing. I like to do this occasionally and catch people on their way out of the building. One of my co-workers was out with me, and there was a big lull in people leaving because this was the week of thanksgiving. So I tried some astrophotography since I had the camera with me. It didn't turn out super well for two reasons: One, because I setup before sunset and the mount wasn't aligned well; Two, the light pollution is really bad near LAX airport, especially in the direction of the building lights that light up the parking lot.

I tried a few times to take a picture of the Pleiades and once to take a picture of Jupiter. And then people started leaving the building again, and I wanted to give them a view so I stopped trying for pictures.
